Deborah Chang

Attorney Chang’s breadth of knowledge and experience has been developed as a trial lawyer in courtrooms around the country. She regularly defends clients against products liability and medical malpractice claims. She has served as national and regional counsel for a variety of manufacturers throughout the country. As an equity partner at Cummings & Lockwood in Stamford, Connecticut, she was the head of products liability and tort practice group in the trial department. She was appointed by the Connecticut Supreme Court to serve on the Connecticut Appellate Advisory Rules Committee. While practicing law in Hartford, she was an instructor and part of the adjunct faculty at the University of Connecticut Law School. In addition to her legal career, Attorney Chang has been extensively involved in jury research and focus groups, and served as CEO and General Counsel at LegalVote.com, which provides online focus groups for a variety of insurers, manufacturers, and trial counsel in prominent cases pending throughout the country. She has served as a legal commentator on a variety of national and local news programs, including CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC.
