sub-contractors involved in private and public
construction projects. Yamin & Grant provides advice
from the bidding process through
completion of a construction project. During the
bidding and contracting stages of a project, we work
to identify risks that may arise and determine how
to best remove the risk or address it through
pricing or other appropriate contract provisions.

Yamin & Grant’s commercial litigation practice
includes a diverse mix of complex commercial

how to bring or respond to a claim, through trial
before a judge or jury, post-trial appellate
practice, and collection. We advise clients on all
aspects of litigation strategy, not only with
respect to issues such as choice of forum,
jurisdiction, and other procedural matters, but also
on cost-effective ways to achieve a business
objective that can be accomplished only through
litigation. We view litigation as a means to an end,
rather than an end in itself. Our attorneys
regularly appear in courtrooms throughout the state
as well as federal courts in the United States
District Court for the District of Connecticut, as
well as the Southern and Eastern Districts of New
York when our client’s claims arise in those
districts. Yamin & Grant also regularly represents
clients in a variety of alternate dispute resolution
settings, including formal settlement negotiations,
mediation, and arbitration before the American
Arbitration Association, the National Association of
Securities Dealers and the New York Stock Exchange.

claims against their various insurance carriers is
expanding. We regularly provide policyholders advice
and counsel with respect to their rights under their
various policies of insurance, including coverage
for construction claims and
employment claims, as well as directors and officers, errors
and omissions, general liability, real estate and
title matters. With significant experience in the
interpretation of insurance agreements and
litigation of coverage issues. We can greatly improve
